MRI Quantitative Volumetrics

FDA Approved Measurements
We use CorTech NQ to measure with very high precision and accuracy multiple brain structures. We can measure the shrinkage or atrophy of the damaged brain structures with great sensitivity.
Asymmetry
Brain injury often increases the degree of difference in asymmetry in brain structures that can then be detected and analyzed statistically.
Insights
Serial Measurements Over Time
demonstrate progressive atrophy in structures allowing for before and after comparisons that can be detected within months after an injury.
Abnormal Enlargement of Amygdala
Abnormal enlargement of amygdala can be seen in conditions such as significant emotional neglect, or certain neuropsychiatric conditions such as autism.
Alternative Methods
We’ll research methods like freesurfer.
